Emerica Hsu is a solid mid-top vegan skateboard shoe available in a durable poly-urethane coated blue canvas! The Hsu is the longest running skate shoe in the current Emerica line up. Not to mention the most consistent shoe to have a Vegan colorway. It holds down the classic vulcanized feel while providing plenty of padding in the collar.
The poly-urethane coated canvas is amazingly durable giving added life to the shoe. The toe cap features triple stitching in high wear areas for some added skate life too! We reviewed a pair of the Hsu Lows in the early days of VSB and were really happy with the feel of the shoe, however towards the end of skating the heals started to separate from the sole. The Hsu has updated soles just like the Tempsters. We didn’t have any blowouts during out wear test and expect the Hsu to wear similar.
