Flipwood Upcycled Skateboards sent us some of their rad creations! Using broken skateboard decks, Flipwood has been fashioning stands for all sorts of smartphones (not just the Apple iPhone 4S) and tablets as well as some keychains.
Flipwood’s stands come in multiple sizes and are hand built to fit the device perfectly even with a case. Since this is a stand and not a “dock” you can turn the phone on its side for landscape mode, and your not going to end up in the dreaded valley of incompatibility when your next phone needs a different connector.
The layers of colored laminates are something that resonates with so many of us, since this is unmistakably made from a skateboard. Flipwood’s keychains sometimes end up with the original art and/or stickers that once saw some gnar. Check out that sweet Crimson Ghost! Even the concave is left in the keychains they sent. So rad. Lets not forget, all their glues are vegan!
