Go Skateboarding Day 2012 and Emerica’s Wild In The Streets
Emerica’s Wild In The Streets event on Thursday was insane!!! I could try and sum up the fun I had, but words would fall short. (So I’ll use pictures instead!) All I can really say is, this was by far the most fun I have had in my adult life that I can remember. Tearing up the street. Meeting and seeing some of my skate hero’s, exploring old buildings, and finishing out the night at the best skate park this side of the mississippi, Modern Skate Park.
enjoy the photo dumb! and click in the Emerica link above to see more photos of the day.
the Horde took exits the park and onto Woodward.
By accident or sheer gnar, skaters took the opposing lane head on.
George from Modern Skate and Surf was at the start point and the end. This guy is OG and has the best park around.
Got to meet a Ed!!!
This was a million-dollar condo before the skaters showed up.
easily a new DIY indoor park.
how hard could it be to add some tranny to the pool? sweeping the nation and freaking out kids everywhere!turns out this may have been one of those zombie-movie sets.
check out those rad stickers! kids love stickers!the most bad-ass skateboard park around!
