Food Fight Grocery turns 10 this Sunday! (September the 8th) To celebrate, their having a potluck in the field across from the Vegan MiniMall! In conjunction, a Slappy Session Curb Contest will be going down, (low to the ground grinds for the non-skaters) and PAL (Portland Animal Liberation) will be making posters for an up-coming circus protest!
The Food Fight potluck gets going at noon! Bring some soda and snacks to share!
Portland Animal Liberation will be making posters at 1pm for their upcoming protest of Ringling Bros. Circus. If you want to do more for the animals then stuff your face with tofu, this is your chance to be constructive while your belles settle for whats up next.
Kevin Marks of Traveling Free Box has set up the Slappy Session, which gets underway at 2pm. Some excellent prizes like Greg Harbor’s Butcher Deck and Emerica Tempsters! As it stands there are enough goodies in the prize purse, one could walk away with a full setup. Shoes, board, shirt and all. No underwear of pants, so please bring your own.
