Dekline Paxton is a stylish and slim silhouette available in several Vegan colorways! For the Spring 2012 season, Matt Bennett’s exclusive colorway is Black Synthetic Nubuck with purple and tie dye detailing. The insole even features the Toy Machine Monster! (Maybe the ol’ Tempster is having a positive effect and we’ll have another Vegetable Shredder in our ranks?) As any quality synthetic skateboard shoe should, there are lots of perforation vents on the inner/outer sides and toe to help the shoe breath. The tongue is nice and thick with mesh and foam cushioning. The collar is also padded to keep the ankle comfy. Vulcanized sole for a close board feel with that classic geodesic Dekline pattern. Not a loud shoe by any means, but lots of technical details that make it a great skate shoe!

i love dekline.
i actually have been talking to kevin furtado at tum yeto about a toy machine collaboration that is vegan.
he told me about the matt bennett which is pictured above but I wanted something similar to the belmonster, a giant toy machine logo on the side.
i found it odd that a toy machine collab wasnt vegan to begin with, but i dont think ed had anything to do with the design. i was still bummed when i found out they weren’t vegan.
Synthetic leather! This is awesome, a step in the right direction for making more durable and animal free shoes.
