Habitat Lark is available in a vegan colorway this fall. Vegan skateboarders get psyched!!! The upper is all black with a textured synthetic leather toe cap, lace cage, and heal. The middle of the shoe is synthetic nubuck! Vent holes in the toe cap are going to keep the tootsies aired out, which is always nice in a synthetic skate shoe. The Lark has a classic skate look, with a moderate amount of padding in the tongue and collar. While it kind of has a cupsole look, the vulcanized gum soles give excellent grip and board feel. (Note, this is the only current Vegan colorway for the Lark so beware.)

A few years ago I would agree hands down. Vulcanized soles have come a long way though, especially when it comes to balding.
These look interesting. I am always a little hesitant to get shoes made by a board company, but these look good. A review would be nice (if someone around here has tried these that is) as I am still on the search for a black vegan shoe with glue that can withstand my constant skateboarding. Again, great blog! Thank you for the constant updates. This place is a life-saver.
