The Quest is one of a few new Vegan skate shoes from Habitat for the spring 2012 season. The mix is alright considering they took a season or two off from animal free options.
The all Canvas upper is a dark teal keeping with Habitat’s eco-theme. Thin all around, the bottom of the lacing cage gives a little extra canvas to wear through and metal eyelets to ensure no ripping. The tongue has light padding and the collar is thin with a tight scoop to keep close to the heel. Vulcanized soles are made of natural rubber giving some good board feel. All of which is connected with eco-friendly water based adhesives. Score.
Lots of random sites to fill out the sizes, and still some gaps for the non-average foot.
