The Emerson is a new style from Macbeth that has a more familiar skate style then some of their other offerings. In fact this is one of the few cupsole shoes they have released, usually opting for a vulcanized style.
The all vegan line comes in several canvas colorways, accented by synthetic leather on the side logging and the tongue, which features a guitar pick sleeve. Not exactly the kind of shredding I would have in mind, but whatever. The tongue is fairly thin with a little padding. The collar has a bit more for added ankle protection.
Macbeth puts out a lot of synthetic-leather shoes. This would be a perfect candidate. So as always send them feedback. That being said they still look like a good start to a solid skate shoe. If anyone from Macbeth wants to hook us up we will be proud to shred them in a site review.
