Freestyle is the second hi-top from Praxis and this one comes in an all synthetic-leather upper! Not as loud as the Vegan Elemental, this is a combo of a black-synthetic leather on a grey synthetic-nubuck. The lace cage features a few plastic loops for fast lacing, and a handy eyelet to keep the tongue straight. The tongue is thinly padded, while the collar gives plenty of ankle protection. Praxis’ “Sacred Sole” cupsoles are super thin and responsive! You get the comfort of a cupsole with the feel of a thin vulcanized shoe.

That shoe looks perfect. Looks like it’s modeled after a Jordan I, which is what a lot of skaters were rocking in the mid 80s. Chop it into a mid top and you have a good Jordan III.
Wait, this shoe is not leather? The site calls this model in this colorway “action leather.”

I thought so too and then got my hands on a pair in SF. Also the labeling on shoe here lists the materials as man-made synthetics.
