The Society Mid “Jade” is a new Vegan colorway from Supra. Black waxed twill with bright green accents this mid-top really pops. While this may be considered part of their mid-top skateboard line it certainly is reminiscent of many a hi-top basketball sneaker.
With slimmed down tongue and collar it has a sleek profile but still offers some ankle protection while the cut out back (more at traditional mid-top hight) still gives plenty of foot movement. Vulcanized soles provide a close board feel.

Why do Supras cost so much?
i think because, even though they make solid skate shoes, Supra is very “fashion” oriented and usually make at least a dozen or more colorways for one model of shoe. They update their lines several times a season unlike the bigger companies that will have maybe three color options for as many as 5 months. Either way, this usually ends up that Supra will have a bunch of Vegan options across the whole line.
