Where do you like skating? Skateparks, streets, everywhere!

Why did you go Veg?  Because i watched a brazilian documentary called “A carne é fraca” (meat is weak) and Earthilings, then i realized that all beings were equal.

What is your favorite thing to skate and why? Freedom, different of the collective sports, skateboard depends of only you. Skating with my friends.

What shoe are you skating in now? DC chase athletic

Or just say whatever you want about skating Veg…     Since i was a kid i was outraged with the social and political system in my country, i grew up as an anarchist, i always fought against capitalism in my life. In this journey, i met skateboarding in 2003 and veganism in 2006. After all, my way of life could not be other, i will never regret of it!

Featuring black waxed canvas upper with a solid toe cap, red synthetic-leather stripe and yellow detailing. The shoe even features all the colors of Willow’s home country, Germany.

Made for skateboarding the heel and midsole feature “SupraFoam” for some big drops. This contrasts the a tapered nose on the front for great board feel. The solid toe caps and the vamp go way back for some smooth wear, they almost look like slip-ons up front. The collar and tongue are slim on padding for a light weight wear similar to most of the Supra skateboard line up.

Cuba Skate Documentary: Por los Ojos de un Patinador Cubano

Cuba Skate Documentary: Por los Ojos de un Patinador Cubano (Through the Eyes of a Cuban Skater) is a Kickstarter project that just started and is well on its way to its funding goal. The film isn’t the first to look at the isolated skateboard scene in Cuba. In 2007, “Cuban Skateboard Crisis,” interviewed skaters in Havana at their local park and even featured a skate contest. Even the best skaters on the island have some dismal looking boards. The lack of availability leads to repair often involves glueing and screwing two boards back together.

“Por los Ojos de un Patinador Cubano”, started filming in 2010 and gives us an updated look at whats been going on in the scene in the last six years. Exciting stuff and it really makes you think twice before you focus that next deck.

DC Bridge TX

DC Bridge TX vegan Skateboard ShoeThe DC Bridge TX has updated coloways and some classics for a total of 7 vegan skateboard shoe options and  all canvas upper. The deconstructed light weight look is a departure from the puffy cup soles. Instead we have a clean solid toe piece with minimal padding.

DC Vegan Skateboard Shoe Bridge TXThe vulcanized soles feature an inverted “pill-pattern.” This will give you some extra wear time compared to the usual pattern as it will take longer for the soles to wear flat. Looks waffely.
